The year 10 GCSE Textiles students have been working on wrap around hospital gowns for children in hospital for a charity project called ‘Pyjama Fairies’. Due to the rules stipulated for the garments no fancy embellishmnent was permitted so students decided to fabric paint children's characters on the front and construct the garments independently in complimentary fabrics. Amanda from the charity phoned Miss Neal to compliment the students work saying “They are amazing and I will be taking them to all exhibitions we do to promote the charity”.
Well done Natasha Spinks, Shannon Wathall, Shannon Holden, Alice Hauton & Courntey Lawry.
